Our Submission to the WHO on the 3rd of December 2005
In Support of AMICA's Reach The Future Campaign

On behalf of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) sufferers world-wide and sufferers of all other forms of Chemical Injury (CI), MCS-International.Org respectfully asks that the World Health Organisation:
1) Provides substantially more financial resources for research into the physical causes of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) and all other forms of Chemical Injury (CI); with particular focus on environmental pollution, the chemical contamination of our air, food, and water, and the widespread use of toxic chemicals in a very wide range of commercial products.
2) Undertakes more research on the long-term effects of exposure to modern synthetic chemicals, particularly the long term effects of low-level chemical exposures with special focus given to the synergystic effects of such chemical exposures on all of the major organs of the body.
3) Implement immediate recognition of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) within the ICD code in the section "Injury, poisoning and certain other consequences of external causes".
4) Officially declare the 3rd of December as the Global Day of Awareness for Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) and all other forms of Chemical Injury (CI) in honour and rememberance of the many tens of thousands of innocent men, women, and children killed, or permanently injured, in Bhopal, India, in the worlds worst chemical disaster.
